Publisher: Unsold Souls Media. This page describes this version of Good Trouble. Updated September 18, 2026.
What the app stores
Good Trouble stores your current mission, the remaining shuffled mission list, the local date, whether the current mission is complete, and completed mission IDs with completion times in your browser’s localStorage under good-trouble:v1. The impact count is calculated from that history. It is not a global count.
A service worker also stores the app’s pages, scripts, styles, fonts, icons, and mission library in your browser’s Cache Storage so they can load offline. These cached files do not contain your helper messages.
What stays on the page
Text you type into “Help me do this” is processed by local templates. The app does not send it to a server or deliberately store it in localStorage or the offline cache. Your browser or device may retain page or form state, for example when restoring a tab. Avoid entering sensitive information on a shared device.
Network requests
On the first visit and when checking for app updates, your browser requests files from the site’s hosting provider. The provider receives normal connection information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time, and may keep operational or security logs under its own policies. Unsold Souls Media does not receive your mission history or helper text through this app.
The app has no analytics, advertising, tracking scripts, tracking cookies, accounts, push notifications, or third-party API calls. Fonts are bundled with the app. Your browser, operating system, extensions, and hosting provider operate separately from the app.
Your control—and the limits
History is stored on this device for this web origin. It is not encrypted by the app, backed up by the publisher, or synchronized across devices. Other people with access to your browser profile may be able to read it. Browser storage limits, private browsing, clearing site data, or changing web addresses can remove or separate your history. Installation alone does not guarantee permanent storage.
To remove history and offline files, clear this site’s stored data in your browser’s privacy or website settings. This resets your count and requires another online visit for offline use. Removing a home-screen icon alone may not clear website data.
Optional browser assistants
In browsers that support it, the app exposes tools for reading the current mission and count, selecting another mission, and recording completion. These tools do not expose helper text or the full completion history. If you use a browser assistant, its own privacy settings and policies also apply.
