Self-service help for Good Trouble, published by Unsold Souls Media.
Add to your home screen
Open Good Trouble in a regular browser using its secure HTTPS address. An in-app browser or private browsing session may not support installation.
- Android: Open in Chrome or another supporting browser. Use “Install Good Trouble” when available, or the browser menu’s “Install app” / “Add to Home screen” option. Confirm the browser’s prompt.
- iPhone or iPad: Open in Safari, tap Share, choose “Add to Home Screen,” enable “Open as Web App” if offered, then tap Add. Menu wording varies by system version.
- Desktop: Use your browser’s install icon or app menu if available. In supported Safari versions, use File → Add to Dock.
Installation is optional. If your browser doesn’t offer it, the website still works.
Use it offline
Visit once while connected and wait for “Ready to use offline.” After that, the 60 missions, completion count, local help, and these information pages work without a connection. There are no messages to sync or actions waiting to upload.
If offline setup fails, reconnect and reload in a regular browser. First-time visits require a connection. Browser settings or low storage can remove cached files; if that happens, open the app online again.
Where did my count go?
Use the same device, browser profile, and web address as before. A home-screen app may have separate storage depending on your platform. Private browsing, clearing site data, or switching from a preview URL to a public URL can start a new count. There is no server copy to recover from.
Updates
While online, the browser checks for a new app version. If an update is ready, finish your helper draft, then close all Good Trouble tabs and installed windows and reopen. The app does not force a reload mid-message. Updates retain your saved mission history at the same web address.
Something isn’t working?
- Reconnect and reload the app.
- Try a current regular browser, with JavaScript and website storage enabled.
- If an update is ready, close all app windows and reopen.
- As a last resort, clear this site’s data in browser settings. This permanently resets your local mission history and count.
This release provides self-service support; no support inbox or contact form is configured. Never post private helper text or your browser storage contents when asking someone for help.
